Groton House of Pizza is the best around, at least in my opinion. GREAT subs. Best sub rolls around. Pizza is awesome. Try this Sub: Large American, everything but hots, Xtra Mayo, little oil, toated. You'll thank me. More

Ordered a Greek salad. $10.00 Very small. Asked why it was so small. Answer, “that’s how they come”. Lettuce was wilted. Can get a better salad at Market Basket for $3. Not worth it More

You know that perfect slice of pizza you crave from back in the day. You know the one, like so many other things seem to be these days...no longer in existence. Groton Pizza is a throwback to the perfect pizza houses of the 90's, cheezy dated decor and a sweaty overworked owner grinding out the perfect pies to the background music of Train. You know the place and you know that perfect molten slice, Groton pizza has it.
Who goes to Groton? I don't, we just stumbled into town looking for a place to pee and the smell guided us to pizza nirvana. So if your craving yesteryear, slide on your Z Caverichi's hop into your Prelude and go check them out.
Side quest...just a few shops down is a flower shop loaded with unique finds. Avoid the Dunc's there though....it's very scary and no bathroom fyi

You could spend $17 on one meal at McDonald's and still be hungry... or you could come here and spend 13.50 on a delicious, custom made, toasted Italian grinder with a soda... And it'll actually fill you up... This place is amazing. 10/10

Very rude. Called and placed an order which went well. Then we received a call saying they just got an order after ours for $215.00 and due to them being short staffed they would not deliver. Being short staffed I get and that does not upset me but when your business is valuing one customer over another due to money that sets off red flags. While talking with them on the phone to express my concern they just kept trying to hang up. I let them know due to this it makes someone not want to order in the future to which they replied "we will no longer be delivering to your house" Keep this in mind if you ever have a small order they may not give you priority.

Very small salads by "house of pizza" standards. Hardly any feta on the Greek Salad. Quality was good and the young girl working the counter and kitchen by herself did a nice job.

Tried for the first time last night. Get the buffalo chicken pizza. Best pizza ive had in a while. Killer mozzarella sticks too! Super close to the castle on gibbet hill, easy sunset date food.

Very disappointing. Ordered a large Italian sub. Barely any meat and cost $9. I’ve had small subs at other places that way have more meat and topping and taste better. Cutting corners and it shows. Do not recommend to anyone

My child went to this place with his friends, I’ve been here with my child . The man working here was slightly rude. The food was good and the girl who worked here was very friendly. Come here with not too much expectation. 7/10 More

I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. My fiancé stopped in for a quick lunch break, and it was his first time visiting. While looking over the menu, he asked what a “grinder” was, as in our town we refer to them as subs. The cashier responded rudely and made him feel uncomfortable for asking a genuine question.
I understand everyone has off days—I’m a waitress myself—but customers who approach staff respectfully should be met with the same courtesy, especially when they’re simply seeking clarification. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing, and the sandwich itself was also bland.
Because of this experience, we won’t be returning.

The best pizza out there. Nothing comes close. The food is always perfect. The pizza is out of this world and the owner is a great guy. I have been coming here for years and have eaten more pizza here than anywhere else. Not only is the pizza good but the hot subs and other menu items are also excellent. Top level and fair prices. Cant beat it!

The Italian has 12+ big cuts of meat and provolone on it. The steak is 1/2 lb. The chicken and buffalo tenders are fantastic, and the owner knows the whole town. Never seen him not get to know a customer well. Try the baklava, have a seat at the window during sunset or snowfall, have the owner surprise you with something. Best prices in the area, they deliver, and they care. 🍕

Growing up we used to go to GHP all the time. Now I live half the country away and I still talk about how good the pizza is here and when I come back to visit my parents I drive out of my way just for this pizza. It is honestly so the best around.

Been coming here for 20+ years. Used to be $3.25 for a small pizza. A little more now, but still a great value and wonderful taste. Lots of options of pizza, subs both cold and hot and salads. The decor inside remains about how it looked 20+ years ago but missing a Pac-Man game. Friendly staff and quick service. If you’re in town this is a great stop. Must try.
